About Lushoto

It is situated in the Usambara Mountains, mid-way between Arusha and Dar es Salaam and near the border with Kenya Lushoto is the centre of a beautiful area boasting stunning views, waterfalls, rivers and forests. The area is reknown for some of the best hiking

 

 

 

Accomodation

 

There is an accomodation as you approach Lushoto Town under the Sisters of Our Lady of Mount Usambara. In this house accomodation is offered. Other functions that are unique to this area is the making of wine, jam and some other finished fruit products. It is always advisable that one stays for a day or two to get flavor of what is found around since there is a lot to be desired. Our accomadation rates start from 15000 Tanzania shillings. We
