Missionary Spirit Travel is a young company founded in 2004 by the Holy Ghost Congregation (Spiritans) East Africa Province in collaboration with the Catholic Diocese of Zanzibar.
Community Activities in Zanzibar
The Diocese has for a long time interacted with various religious denominations, namely the Anglicans, Lutherans, Protestants and Moslems. The major task has been to engage in dialogue. The intereligious dialogue has helped a lot in a peaceful co-existence of all these denominations. Establishment of social services such as educating the less fortunate of the society and establishing a secondary school are some of the tangible services offered by the Catholic Church in Zanzibar.
